We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 CREDA Massachusetts Development Awards, recognizing exceptional commercial real estate projects that are setting new standards for innovation, design, and community impact.
These prestigious awards celebrate urban, outer urban & suburban developments as well as renovations / repositionings that demonstrate excellence in the industry. Eligible projects must have been completed on or after January 1, 2025 and before July 1, 2026.
If you’ve been part of a project that deserves the spotlight, we encourage you to apply today! Please carefully review the submission guidelines and criteria before submitting your application. Applications are open only to member firms and all projects must have been completed by CREDA-member developers.
Let’s recognize the visionaries and teams behind the spaces that shape how we work, live, and connect. The winners of each award will be announced at the CREDA Awards Celebration & Holiday Party on November 19 at Fenway Park.
Urban Development Award
An urban project is defined as one located in Boston or Cambridge.

Outer Urban Development Award
An outer urban project is defined as one located in Somerville, Brookline, Chelsea, Everett, Watertown, Quincy, Revere, Lynn, or Malden.

Suburban Development Award
A suburban project is one defined as those in communities not included in the Urban (Boston and Cambridge) or Outer Urban (Somerville, Brookline, Chelsea, Everett, Watertown, Quincy, Revere, Lynn, or Malden) categories.

Renovation or Repositioning Project Award
A renovation or repositioning project is defined as the substantial improvement, modernization, or transformation of an existing commercial property.
