Who are the CREDA Developing Leaders?

CREDA’s Developing Leaders (DL) program, for commercial real estate professionals who are 35 years old or younger, provides the tools, networking and resources needed to gain a competitive edge.  Developing Leaders have access to a wide variety of programming and career development opportunities that propel careers to the next level.

The CREDA Developing Leader membership is designed with young professionals in mind. Developing Leaders have access to:

  • Executive Dinner Series—A small group of DL members share a casual dinner with an industry executive
  • DL Mentorship Program—This 6-month member-only program pairs a DL with a CREDA Board or Gavel member to create lasting connections with senior commercial real estate professionals.
  • Fun and Networking—Annual DL networking events include a Ski Trip, Holiday Party, and Summer Social.
  • DL Committee meetings—All DL members are invited to monthly committee meetings. Past meetings have featured guest speakers, site tours, market updates, and committee business including sharing job opportunities that are available in the industry; and a brief summary of topline government affairs items.
  • CREDA Link Lounge at Allsteel—This exclusive CREDA member-only benefit is designed to provide a flexible and inspiring space to work, meet, or simply enjoy a change of scenery.
  • Discounted admission to CREDA’s programs and events, as well as free admission to several networking and other events throughout the year.

CREDA offers a Developing Leaders membership which can be found here: Join Us. The Developing Leader membership is open to commercial real estate professionals age 35 or younger! The cost to become a Developing Leader is $400 per year.

Upon joining CREDA as a Developing Leader member, you are automatically added to our email distribution list. In order to participate in the committee, you must be a CREDA member.

The Developing Leaders Committee meets 8-10 per year, taking breaks in the summer and December due to vacations, holiday parties, etc.

Committee meetings often feature guest speakers on a wide range of topics including market updates, development case studies, and professional development. Tours of development projects are also a frequent part of DL Committee meetings. In addition, committee business; job opportunities that are available in the industry; and a brief summary of topline government affairs items are included in every meeting.

Select DL events are open to all ages, typically those topics that will have the broadest appeal. Members will be notified of those opportunities.
